In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Content

Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
